CommuniTea

A living commons for tea, community & the natural world.

Tea sets the pace

A third place, rooted in the living world

CommuniTea is a tea house being grown slowly and on purpose, a place where gathering with people and staying connected to nature are the same practice. It doesn't have walls yet. It has a community, a garden plan, and a kettle that's already on.

The tea house

Seasonal menus brewed from herbs grown on-site or sourced with intention. Tea that makes you sit longer, talk more, and notice more.

The garden

A living garden and permaculture plot where the menu begins. Earth care, people care, fair share: practiced, not just posted on the wall.

The commons

Potlucks, skill-shares, a book and seed library, and full-moon nights around the fire. Belonging you can contribute to, not just consume.

The why, and the way there

Hi, I'm Day. Everywhere I've lived over the past decade-plus across Asia, I've ended up doing the same thing: bringing people together. Recurring hangouts, shared tables, workshops, small traditions that turned strangers into community. CommuniTea is that practice given roots, one place where connection to people and connection to the living world grow together.

Now

Pop-up gatherings. Taking everything those years of community-building taught me and pouring it into small, real events that test the rituals, the tea, and the feeling of the space before it has walls.

Next

The learning years. Two to three years of deliberate study: permaculture design, tea craft, land, natural building, and the finances of a place like this. Slow on purpose.

Then

A permanent home. A garden, a tea house, a commons, built in a place chosen carefully rather than quickly. The door opens when the roots are ready.

Be here from the first pour

Leave your email and you'll hear when pop-up dates are set, when the garden breaks ground, and one day, when the doors open.

No noise, no hustle. Just occasional letters as things take root.

Water the seed

CommuniTea is community-rooted from the very beginning, and that includes how it's funded. If this vision speaks to you, you can help it grow. Contributions go toward the pop-ups, the learning years, and one day, the land itself.

Support the vision

Money is one way to contribute. Skills, ideas, and helping hands count just as much here, and always will.
